Hot Kiln Roasted Smoked Salmon (unsliced Whole Side)
Award winning hot smoked salmon, completely hand produced. We raise the temperature in the kiln as we smoke whole sides of salmon with beech wood for a gentle and delicious smokey flavour and carefully top them with our own recipe pepper crust. This method gently cooks the fish as it smokes, then we remove it from the smoker before it begins to dry to allow us to retain the perfect level of moisture in the fish. The whole sides are unsliced and ready to portion. We recommend slicing only when the salmon is very cold and with a very sharp knife to get the perfect portion. Our responsibly sourced Scottish salmon is treated with utmost care to maintain its delicate texture. Perfect with eggs or as a starter, canapes, or sandwich filler as you can keep it whole or spread it out. Our whole side varies in weight but averages at 1.2kg and will provide 10 to 20 delicious servings depending on portion size. This product can be frozen.
